More on Bournemouth
Located in Southern England, Bournemouth is an alright pier setup that offers both lefts and rights that are performance-oriented. The waves here are easy to surf and can break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom. This is the most popular spot on the southern coast and has a dedicated crew of locals. Eastside is the most popular spot in the area. There’s a decent left that heads toward the pier and a right that runs down the beach, The pier also helps to protect against SW winds. Head to the other side for more peaks but without the wind protection. There’s a channel next to the pier that makes for an easier paddle out. Can provide barrels in the right conditions: SW groundswell and N winds.
