Located in Southeastern England, Littlehampton is a beach break that offers up some decent waves for performance manoeuvres when the conditions line up. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom. There is a wooden groyne that can offer up decent lefts.
What are the best surf conditions for Littlehampton?
Gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here does not break often (3/10) and will generally be crowded when on (7/10). The best winds are from the North. The best swells are from the East, South, Southeast, and Southwest. Works on a high tide.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 in the summer when water temperatures rise to 17 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 is best when temps plunge to 8 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
