Located in West Cornwall, England, Sennen is a fun beach break that offers up some punchy peaks good for manoeuvres and the occasional barrel. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Sennen?
Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard then step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (7/10) and will usually have a crew on it (6/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Northwest, South, Southwest, and West. Works on low to mid tides best.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 in the summer when water temperatures rise to 17 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 is best when water temperatures drop to 9 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
