Located in West Cornwall, England, Godrevy is a fun beach break that offers up some good performance sections and holds size quite well. The waves here are pretty straightforward to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Godrevy?
Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard, shortboard, then step up as the waves pick up. This spot is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is somewhat consistent (5/10) and will usually be uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are from the Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 wetsuit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 17 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 will work for the 9 degree water. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
