Located in Northern Cornwall, England, Treyarnon is a quality surf spot that has a beginner-friendly beach break on the inside and a couple of rock and sand reefs on the outside for those more advanced. The waves here are easy on the inside and challenging on the outside breaking for up to 50 meters.
What are the best surf conditions for Treyarnon?
Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard on the inside beachie and a shortboard then step up on the outside reefs as the size picks up. All levels of surfer will find something here. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) and will also have a crew (6/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works on a low to mid tide best.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 in the summer when water temperatures rise to 17 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 is best when water temperatures drop to 9 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
