Located in the Pais Vasco, Spain, La Arena is a fun beach break that offers up some decent sections for manoeuvres when the conditions are good. This spot is pretty easy to surf and the waves break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom. This break is quite close to Bilbao, so the water is not the cleanest. It also lies next to a large oil refinery which makes the air a little unpleasant to breathe.
