More on Cala Agulla

Located on the island of Mallorca, Cala Agulla is a poor beach break that offers up some decent sections for manoeuvres when the conditions line up. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom. The small swell window leads to inconsistency issues.

What are the best surf conditions for Cala Agulla?

Gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is almost always flat (1/10) and is never crowded (3/10). The best winds are from the South. The best swells are from the Northeast only. Works on all tides.

We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini in the More...
