Praia Da Luz Surf Report and Surf forecast

Located in South Algarve, Portugal, Praia da Luz holds a couple of decent point breaks that offer up good sections for performance surfing. The left point is faster and heavier, while the right is mellower. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom.

What are the best surf conditions for Praia da Luz?

Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here sometimes has a wave (4/10) and will usually have a crew (6/10). The best winds are from the North. The best swells are from the Northwest, South, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides.
