Located in South Algarve, Portugal, Praia da Cordoama is a quality beach break that offers up some great high-performance sections. The waves here can be tricky to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom. There are a few rocks around and currents can be strong.

What are the best surf conditions for Praia da Cordoama?

Gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here if smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will generally have a few people on it (6/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works on a low to mid tide best.
