More on Arguineguin

Located in Gran Canaria South, Canary Islands, Arguineguin in a fun right-hand point break that offers up some high-performance sections when the right conditions line up. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf and break for up to 150 meters over a boulder-covered bottom. Free camping nearby, and a couple of other breaks as well.

What are the best surf conditions for Aguineguin?

Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or a step-up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is not consistent (4/10) and will get very crowded (8/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the Northwest and West. Works on all tides.

We recommend wearing a springsuit in More...
