More on Boca de Pascuales

Located in Colima, Boca de Pascuales is an excellent beach break that is often compared to Puerto Escondido. The similarities are striking. Heavy and heaving beach break barrels galore. The waves here are super heavy and are known for smashing boards and egos. The waves break for up to 100 meters (328 feet) over a sand bottom.

What are the best surf conditions for Boca de Pascuales?

Gets good between chest-high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard, a step up, and then a gun as the size picks up. This break is good for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is very consistent (8/10) and will get busy at peak times (5/10) The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the South and Southwest. Works on all tides.
