Located in Southern Baja, Mexico, there are 7 righthand point breaks that form the infamous Scorpion Bay or otherwise known as Bahia San Juanico which can link up depending on swell. Yep, that’s right you can ride a wave here for 2km on the right day! You can find more protection from the afternoon onshores at the first three points, the trade-off here though is the size with Punta Pequena being more exposed to swell and therefore bigger. As a general rule of the thumb the points furthest inside are more mellow and more suited to beginners with the furthest point being bigger, more powerful and better suited to more competent surfers.
