More on K-38

Located in Northern Baja, Mexico, K-38 is an excellent point break that offers up a long barreling right-hander when the conditions line up. The waves here are challenging to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a rocky, urchin-infested reef. Easy to spot from the highway, not too far from the border.

What are the best surf conditions for K-38?

Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or step-up here. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here usually has something to ride (5/10) and will get very crowded, especially on weekends (8/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the South or Southwest. Works on a low to mid-tide best.

We recommend wearing board shorts or More...
