Located in Northern Baja, Mexico, Baja Malibu is a quality right-hand pointbreak that offers up spitting barrels at size and a rippable beach break when smaller. The waves here can get heavy and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom. The main issue with this spot is the pollution that seems to always be in the water.
Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller or a shortboard and step-up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (7/10) and will get very crowded (8/10). The best winds are from the East.
