Found on the South Coast of New South Wales, Werri beach is a fun beach break with a sandy bottom. The waves here are pretty straightforward to surf, breaking up for up to 100 meters providing sections for turns, airs, and carves.
This spot gets good between waist-high to double overhead. When it’s smaller a longboard will work, but with size we recommend bringing a shortboard. Werri beach will accommodate all skill levels depending on the day. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10), but can get ridiculously crowded on weekends and holidays (9/10). Offshore winds come from the Northwest, and the best swells come from the Northeast. The beach will work on all tides, just check the sandbars when choosing where to go.
