More on Scotts Head

Located in between Port Macquarie and Coff’s Harbour in New South Wales, Scotts Head is an excellent point break that peels across a sandy bottom. The waves here can pack a bit of a punch, breaking up to 200 meters providing speedy sections that you’ll be pumping to keep up with.

What are the best surf conditions for Scotts Head?

The point starts lighting up between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard for the smaller days and a shortboard or step up when bigger. The point is best suited for intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is consistent (7/10) but is always clogged with people (9/10). The best winds come from the West. A good swell from the Southeast and a mid tide will deliver the goods.
