Brunswick Heads Surf Report and Surf forecast

Brunswick Heads is a river mouth break wall at the mouth of Brunswick River. The break walls do a pretty good job of maintaining decent sand at this setup. You can find some protection from winds at either break wall. Peaky lefts and right ins summer North Easterlies on the southside and a heavier right on the northside which can get gnarly on the other bank in big swells. Beware of the huge sweep if you aim to take this outer bank. Keep an eye out for the inner bank on the inside of the river mouth at Torakina Beach where you’ll find smaller beginner sized peaks when the outer river mouth banks are a complete mess.  Gets fat on high tide during smaller swells.
