Ballina Surf Report and Surf forecast

Broken Head is its own little village with a caravan park and a few houses at the end of the road. Just south of Suffolk Park, it is easy to find by taking the signposted turn off the main road and go to the end, about 3km.

The main wave is a right point that can get world-class when it all comes together. Very reliant on sand banks it can go months without breaking and then suddenly turn on with some of the best barrels on the coast.

Once the word is out, it will get crowded. There is only one or two take off spots so it can create a bit of agro on crowded days. If you do score a good wave here you will remember it for a long time More...
