Located on the Northern Coast of West Australia, Dunes/Surfer’s Beach is a fun group of rocky reef breaks. Some waves can be challenging and can break for up to 200 meters, serving up barreling sections where you can pull in and snag some tube time or throw down some carves on the open faces.
What are the best surf conditions for Dunes/Surfer’s Beach?
Gets good between waist-high to double overhead. We recommend riding your gun, longboard, standard shortboard, or step up when bigger here. The beach is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. You can usually find a wave here (5/10) but the reefs can get busy at peak times (5/10). The best wind is East, the best swell direction is from the West, and the best tide is mid.
