Located in Taghazout, Morocco, Taghazout the break is a decent right-point break that offers up a fast and performance-based wave that also barrels at times. The waves here are not always easy to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom. Lots of currents and it is a bit fickle.
What are the best surf conditions for Taghazout?
Gets good between waist-high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard here almost all of the time. This break is best suited to intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here does not break often (3/10) and will usually be uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the North, Northwest and West. Works on mid to high tide best.
