Essaouira Beach is a great and fun spot for beginners and intermediate surfers, as long as it doesn’t get too windy. The long beach has a sandy bottom with great views to both the port and Isle de Mogador, which is Morocco’s only island.

With a SW-N swell, you will always find a couple of mellow peaks to surf. However, waves are better on the southern part of the beach. It starts working from 1ft and can hold up to 6ft.
