Located in the West Coast District of South Africa, Port Nolloth Reef is an excellent right-hand reef break that throws out some barrels over a dangerously shallow rock reef. There are lots of sharks around, but it’s usually uncrowded. On bigger swells, it really turns on, and you can get lovely long barrels. The waves here are no joke and break for up to 150 meters (492 ft) over a rock bottom.
