Le VVF is the most southern spot of Anglet. It sits right next to the famous Biarritz lighthouse and is part of the Chambre d’Amour. There is a live camera if you want to check the conditions before giving it a go.
The spot is protected from southerly winds by a massive cliff, making it a smaller and cleaner alternative than the northern beaches of Anglet. It gets pretty crowded when the swell gets bigger. The cliff and jetty on each side of the spot create paddling channels that will make the paddle out easier.
