Located in Nusa Lembongan, Indonesia, Lacerations is a quality reef break that offers up a left hand barrel into a performance wall. The waves here can be challenging and break for up to 100 meters over a coral reef. Watch out for steel rods poking out of the reef toward the end section, this is a seaweed fishing area.
What are the best surf conditions for Lacerations?
Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or step up here as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) and will generally have a crew (6/10). The best winds are from the East or Southeast. The best swells are from the Southwest and West. Works best on a high tide.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini year round. Water temperatures range from 28 to 25 year round. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
