Located in Northern Cornwall, England, Trevone is a pretty good beach break that offers up good sections for manoeuvres when the conditions line up. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf and break for up to 150 meters over a rock and sand bottom. Head to the right side of the beach to use a rip on the way out.
What are the best surf conditions for Trevone?
Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here if smaller and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is somewhat consistent (5/10) and will usually have a crew on it as well (6/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Southwest and West. Works best on a low to mid-tide.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 in the summer when water temperatures rise to 17 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 is best in the 9-degree water. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
