Located in Northern Cornwall, England, Constantine is a quality bay with a variety of options that provide sections good for high-performance manoeuvres. The middle of the bay has a beach break, there is a left reef on the Southern end and a right reef/point on the Northside. The beach break is more consistent, and the quality of the other two can be quite variable. The reefs are rock and the beach break is sand.
What are the best surf conditions for Constantine?
Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here if smaller and a shortboard as the size picks up. These breaks are suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and will have a crew on it (6/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 in the summer when water temperatures rise to 17 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 is best in the 9-degree water. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
