Located in Marin County, California, The Patch is a fun reef break that offers up a fun, right-hand, somewhat mushy wave perfect for longboarders and beginners. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a rock bottom.
Gets good between waist-high and head-high. we recommend riding a longboard here. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is not the most consistent (3/10) and will generally have a crew on it, especially in the summer (7/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the Southwest. Works on a mid to high tide.
