Located in Santa Catarina, Brazil, Santinho is a fun beach break that offers up rippable and fun conditions when the right swells arrive. The waves here are not too difficult to surf and break for up to 100 meters (328 feet) over a rock and sand bottom. There is also a left point that needs an SE swell and NE wind combo to work.
What are the best surf conditions for Santinho?
It gets good between chest-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here usually has something to ride (5/10) and will usually have a crew (6/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the East, South, and Southeast. It works on all tides.
