Located in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, Leme is not a bad little left wedge that offers up some sucky barrels at times. The waves here are challenging and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom. This spot is popular with bodyboarders.
What are the best surf conditions for Leme?
Gets good between chest-high and overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard when it breaks here. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and will always have a crew (7/10). The best winds are from the Northwest. The best swells are from the Southeast. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing boardshorts and a bikini in the summers when water temperatures rise to 24°C (75°F). In the winter, a 4/3 wetsuit is best for the 13°C (55°F) water. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
