What are the best surf conditions for Ronco do Mar?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller and a shortboard then step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here usually has something to ride (5/10) and will get very crowded (8/10). The best winds are from the South. The best swells are from the East, North, Northeast, and Southeast. Works on a mid to high tide which covers the rocks.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini year-round. Water temperatures vary between 29°C (84°F) and 27°C (81°F). See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
