Located in Northern Oregon, Devil’s Punch is a pretty decent beach break that rolls over a sand bottom. The waves here are easy to surf and break for up to 150 meters providing some great sections for manoeuvres or cruising.
What are the best surf conditions for Devil’s Punch – Beverly Beach?
Gets god from waist high to overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard when the size arrives. This beach is suitable for all levels of surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (7/10) and is generally uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are offshore from the East. the best swells come from the West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 4/3 wetsuit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 14 degrees. In the winter we recommend wearing a 5/4 when water temps drop to 9 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
