Located in Central North Oregon, Cape Kiwanda is a fun reef break that crashes over a boulder and sand bottom. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 100 meters providing some excellent sections for carves and hacks. There is an annual surf competition here held in August that is the main gathering for the Oregon surf scene, and usually some surprise celebrities like Gerry Lopez.
