Located in Long Island, New York, Long Beach is a pretty fun beachy breaking over a sand bottom. This beach is studded with jetties up and down, think rockaways, which lead to some great consistent sandbars. The waves here can be somewhat tricky, but when good serve up barreling sections for up to 100 meters.
Gets good from waist high all the way to triple overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard when bigger. Long Beach is too steep for beginners, intermediates and advanced will have the most fun. The surf here is somewhat consistent (5/10) and is always packed (9/10). Offshore winds come from the North.
