Located in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Brigantine is not a bad beach break that peels across a sand bottom. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and peel for up to 100 meters providing some great sections for cruising or turns.
What are the best surf conditions for Brigantine?
Gets good from head high to double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here most days and a shortboard when bigger. All levels of surfers can have a lot of fun here. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and usually has a crew on it (6/10). The best winds are offshore from the West. The best swells come from the South. Works on a mid to high tide.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini in the summer when water temps rise to 24 degrees. In winter a 5/4 is best when the water temps drop to 5 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
