More on Nantasket Beach

Located in the Boston area in Massachusetts, Nantasket Beach is a fun beach break that breaks over sand. The beach here is curved, which increases its swell window dramatically. The waves here can be a bit challenging to surf and break for up to 100 meters, providing some great sections for manoeuvres.

What are the best surf conditions for Nantasket Beach?

Gets good from waist high to double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when larger. This beach is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here does not break well often (3/10) and is also generally uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the East, North, Northeast, and Southeast. Works on all tides.

We recommend wearing a 3/2 wetsuit in More...
