What are the best surf conditions for Port Mansfield Jetties?
Gets good from waist high to double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here most days and a shortboard when the size steps up. This break is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and is almost always uncrowded (2/10). The best winds are from the Northwest. The best swells are from the East, Northeast, South, and Southeast. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini in the summer when water temperatures rise to 30 degrees. In winter a 3/2 is best when the water temperatures drop to 17 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
