Located on the East coast of Florida, Little Talbot Island is a decent beachie that breaks over a sand bottom. The waves here are fairly easy to surf and break for up to 100 meters providing some excellent sections for manoeuvres. Handles most swells that hit the beach.
What are the best surf conditions for Little Talbot Island?
Gets good from waist high to double overhead. we recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This beach is suitable for all levels of surfers. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) and will always have a crew (7/10). The best winds are from the Southwest. The best swells are from the East, North, Northeast, South, and Southeast. Works only on low tide.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini in the summer when water temperatures rise to 28 degrees. In winter a 4/3 is best when water temperatures fall to 15 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
