Located on the east coast of Florida, Crescent Beach is a semi-decent beachie that breaks over a rock and sand bottom. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf and break for up to 100 meters providing some excellent sections for turns and hacks.
What are the best surf conditions for Crescent Beach?
Gets good from waist high to double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here most days and a shortboard when the swell arrives. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) and is generally quite crowded (8/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the South and Southeast. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini in the summer when water temperatures rise to 28 degrees. In winter a 4/3 is best when water temps drop to 15 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
