Located on the East coast of Florida, Jupiter Inlet is a good jetty setup that breaks over a sand bottom. The waves here require some skill to surf well and break for up to 100 meters providing some great sections for manoeuvres Lots of non-surfing crowds on the beach.
What are the best surf conditions for Jupiter Inlet?
Gets good from waist high to double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard when the size steps up. The break is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) and is usually insanely crowded (9/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the East, North, Northeast, and Southeast. Works best on a low to mid-tide.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini in the summer when water temperatures rise to 30 degrees. In winter we recommend wearing a spring suit when water temps drop to 22 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
