What are the best surfing conditions for Windansea Beach?
Holds a lot of size up to triple overhead, starts working around waist high. A shortboard will work here most days, but a step up is the move when the swells start pumping. Intermediate and advanced surfers at this spot only. The surf here is consistent (7/10) but the vibes in the lineup are competitive and it gets crowded (9/10). The best winds are offshore and from the East. The best swells come from the Southwest and South. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 wetsuit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 20 degrees. In the winter a 4/3 wetsuit is best when water temps drop to a chilly 15 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
