Located in Sonoma County in Northern California, Dillon Beach is a mediocre beach break that crashes over sand. The waves here are straightforward to surf and break for up to 50 meters providing great sections for turns and carves. This spot is sharky, ask any fisherman in the area and they will have a story about a deep-sea encounter at the Shark Pit: a notorious deep water drop off about a 1/2 mile from the beach. The name is self-explanatory.
