Found in Ventura County in Southern California, C Street is a fun and long point break that peels across a boulder and sand bottom. Some waves can be a little tricky to surf, but break for up to 300 meters and provide plenty of opportunity for manoeuvres and longboard cruising.
What are the best surf conditions for C Street?
This point gets good between waist high and triple overhead. We recommend a shortboard when big here, and a longboard at any other time. C Street is suitable for all levels of surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and usually has a crew on it (6/10). The best winds are Northeast and it works on all tides. The best swells come from the Northwest, South, Southwest, and West.
We recommend a 3/2 wetsuit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 18 degrees. In winter a 4/3 is best when temps drop to around 13 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
