More on Salt Creek

Located in Southern Orange County in Southern Creek is an excellent beach break that breaks over a boulder and sand bottom. The waves here are classic but can get challenging at times. They break for up to 50 meters providing fun sections for turns and airs.

What are the best surf conditions for Salt Creek?

Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard when bigger. Salt Creek has something to offer all levels of surfers up and down the beach. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will be packed, especially in the summer (9/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Northwest, South, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides depending on the chosen peak.
