Coming in as a spacious surf charter in the budget range, is the Saraina. The Saraina is a 67’ x 16’ Indonesian Hardwood boat built in Padang, Sumatra in 2003. In search of picture perfect surf, she is able to cover 740km along the Sumatran coast and Mentawai Islands. Different than most boats and attributing to it’s lower cost, teh vessel is on standby in the Siberut area and guests will use the Ambu Ambu ferry to and from Padang.
She caters to slightly smaller groups of 6, or up to the maximum number of 8 guests. Accommodations are in either of two cabins. One has four single beds, and the other has 2 double beds. The interior is fully air conditioned throughout
3 meals a day are freshly prepared on board with a mix of local Indonesian accompanied by your western favourites. Plenty of fruits and snacks are available throughout the day, along with water, sodas and juice. Included in your charter is 2 Bintang beers per day. There’s plenty fridge & freezer space available for your trip meaning the beers are cold and the food is fresh.
The Tender is an aluminum tender with a 15 HP outboard engine. It is used to sip you to the lineups quickly, fishing and snorkel excursion. Also, it will take you to the beach so you can explore the islands and local villages.
