More on Five Islands

Located on the Huvadhoo Atoll, Indian Ocean, Five Islands is a quality right hand reef set up that offers up a long barrel on the right conditions. The waves here can be challenging to surf and break for up to 200 meters over a coral reef. This spot handles size, come when it is pumping.

What are the best surf conditions for Five Islands?

Gets good between waist high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard then step up here as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (6/10) and will hardly ever be crowded (3/10). Th best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the East or Southeast. Works on a mid to high tide best.
