More on Whitesands Bay

Located in Pembrokeshire, Wales, Whitesands Bay is a quality beach break that offers up some great sections for performance manoeuvres when the conditions line up. The waves here are easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom. Keep an eye out for a handy rip to the North end for an easier paddle out. The rip leads out to the Elevator – a right-hand point-style setup. Can get sucky on low tide and deliver decent right-handers. Keep an eye out for several decent lefts as the tide pushes In – to the south of the beach.

A scenic spot that can be popular with all types of watercraft. Avoid public holiday weekends when the goat boaters take over! Plenty of parking but be prepared to pay in the holiday season.
