Best Surf House of Portugal. Chill in Ericeira has the perfect location to score great surf, is clean and the hospitality is second to none. The town of Ericeira is also loaded with great local restaurants and fun bars/clubs.
This was actually my third surf trip to Portugal, but only my first time to Ericeira. I am very impressed by the number of waves in such a small area. Whether you are a beginner or an expert looking for board snapping waves this place has it all. Eduardo and the guys will help you find what you are looking for. Do not be fooled by the lack of surf photography on their website…this place has serious surf.
Between the tho houses, there are plenty of comfortable places to relax, take in the sun or enjoy a beverage in good company. I was very impressed with how clean and well kept the houses are. The bathrooms are absolutely spotless, which was a very nice touch considering they are shared with others. Breakfast was simple, but good. Great breads, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals jams, teas and coffee. The pricing is very appealing both in high and low season. I see a lot of value in what they offer.
They do consider themselves a hostel, but it is much more then that. There is such a good vibe in this place, from Ana’s outgoing personality and warm smile to Daniela’s eccentric character and decor, Chill in Ericeira is a place where everyone is made to feel like part of something special. Stay here you will love it!
