More on Wimereux

Located on the Channel in France, Wimereux is an average beach that breaks over a sand bottom. The waves here are easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters providing some decent sections for manoeuvres.

What are the best surf conditions for Wimereux?

Gets good from waist high to double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the size steps up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is not consistent (3/10) and can get busy on weekends and holidays (5/10). The best winds are from the Southwest but can quite often be too strong. The best swells are from the Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works best on mid to high tides.

We recommend wearing a 4/3 suit in the summer when More...
