More on Les Bourdaines

Located in Seignosse, just north of Hossegor, Les Bourdaines is a very popular beach break, consistent and for all levels. It often gets the best sandbanks in the area, that are pretty stable compared to nearby beaches. It starts working with only 1ft and can hold waves up to 10ft, depending on the direction of the swell and wind. There is a live camera if you want to check the conditions before giving it a go.

This spot usually has a few left and right peaks on offer, but it doesn’t prevent it from being crowded almost all the time. The waves are usually pretty long, hollow and fast. Les Bourdaines works better at low or incoming tide, but like almost everywhere in the Hossegor area, beware of the sketchy shore break.
