Les Sables d’Or, centrally located in Anglet, is a very popular beach break and one of the spot that are part of the Chambre d’Amour. There is a live camera if you want to check the conditions before giving it a go.

Les Sables d’Or is always super crowded as it happens to be the most central break, which also makes it the perfect place to check the surf in the area. It works at all tides but try to aim for a session between low and mid tide, as high tide covers the entire beach and tends to create a substantial backwash. The jetties on both sides of the spot create paddling channels that will make the short paddle out pretty easy.
